EMC Announces 2022 Scholarship Recipients

10 Central Valley high school students were recipients of the Eye Medical Center of Fresno Scholarship.  In total, the scholarship program, awarded $5,000 this year. Student winners were selected by the physicians at EMC based upon accomplishments in the areas of academics, leadership, community service, and extracurricular activities.

“Eye Medical Center of Fresno has a long history of giving back to our community and we can’t think of a better way than helping support deserving high school graduates continue their education” said Eye Medical Center of Fresno CEO, Robert Frediani.

EMC’s scholarships are being awarded at a time when the average annual tuition hovers around $25,000 at public universities and $45,000 at private colleges, which does not include room, board, and other expenses.

The awards presentation took place on May 24, 2022 at EMC. Scholarship recipients were awarded scholarship checks with a welcome reception including dinner and a word from our Board members.
