About
Trained at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry in 1971 and joined the Eye Medical Center in 1972. He believes in the precept that service to the patient is our most important activity, and has been providing care to patients with challenging conditions such contact lens fitting for patients with keratoconus or after transplant. Dr. Kinney also specializes in fitting hard-to-fit contact lenses wearing patients to successfully achieve better vision.
Dr. Kinney’s wife, Jan, is an Assistant Principal at Selma High School. His two daughters are married and are doing well in their chosen fields.
Dr. Kinney is a National Championship Swimming Official and has been a member of the Board of Directors of USA Swimming.
