About

Dr. Thinda received his bachelor’s degree from UC Riverside and his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He was part of the esteemed UCR/UCLA Thomas Haider Program in Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Thinda completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee and his Fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the University of California, Davis which exposed him to the latest and most advanced treatments in retinal disease.

Dr. Thinda is the recipient of several research grants and has published numerous articles in leading scientific publications and medical journals.

Dr. Thinda’s hobbies and interests include weightlifting, snowboarding, cars and spending time with family and friends. He is fluent in English and Punjabi and looks forward to serving patients in the Central Valley for many years to come.
